Sophia's Preschool Holiday Singing Program

Sophia's little preschool Holiday singing program!  She was so focused and has been singing the songs for weeks.  We were very proud- yet amazed at how grown up she is.  The last time we were at the preschool Holiday program we were watching Mason, and Sophia was toddling around.  Now she's stealing the show.

Thanksgiving...we are thankful.

We made the trek down to New Mexico, for the last Thanksgiving in my childhood home.  My parents are going to be relocating sometime in the next year.  Of couse, we had a HUGE snowstorm on our way out of town.  But we made it there safe and sound and it was a great Thanksgiving.

Our yard covered in snow shortly before leaving.

Halloween and Fall Fun

Fall really is beautiful in Utah, we try to get out and appreciate it but it always seems to fly by so quickly.  Here are some photos of the kids on Halloween, and some fall leaf photos.  Mason and Sophia had their Grandma Susan in town for Halloween which was a treat, she even got into the spirit and dressed up as a witch with the kids.
On Halloween night.  Mason got many compliments on his vampire ensemble, his hair is just perfect vampire hair!  And Sophia was the sweetest little witch.  Loved their costumes this year!

Here we are, my face is hilarious.  I was REALLY excited for Halloween...:)

The Witches.  Myself, my mom, and good friend Rhonda spooking it up.
I vant to suck your blood...

Spooky little trick-or-treater.

Sophia and I in my Kindergarten room.  I was Little Red Riding hood.

Mason and I at school.

Big guy Mason... love his guts.
Sweet girl.

Action shot of Sophia jumping into the leaves.
Great BIG jump.  Sophie looks on.

No wonder kids think leaves are so fun.  All that jumping and throwing, with none of the raking or bagging.  :)

There aren't words for this one.  It sums up the season.  Happy Fall everyone.

What the....What???

I know just what you're thinking... you thought we would never blog again!!  It's been over a year!  Anyway, I'm going to start slow- but I'm trying to get back to blogging.  Now that I work part-time again, and really because I've missed it :)  So here we go.

Sophia's first day of preschool.  She has the same teachers and the same room that Mason had for his 3/4 year class.  She loved the writing center where she draws me a picture almost everyday.  She loves her teachers and has a great memory for all the books they read in class.  We've been on a field trip already to the Aviary (post to come w/ photos)  I can't believe how grown-up she is...
