Three cheers for Matt, for taking a close look at our butterfly habitat this morning and noticing that one was popping out of it's chrysalis right before our eyes. Three more followed, with 4 being born in 10 minutes time. AMAZING to watch. They pump their wings to get the blood moving and uncurl their long tongue. One of the chrysalis' doesn't look too good-it may not make it...we'll see. What a fun process...

also, glad to see he is getting good use out of that costume...why not dress up as spiderman at 7:30 am!
