Cars for Kids 2008

Last weekend we were able to attend an awesome event as a family, hosted by our good friend Jeff.  It was Cars for Kids, to benefit Shriner's Hospital for Children.  It had three parts, brunch at La Caille (which was amazing!)  then a drive to Shriners Hospital where we donated toys to all the patients and visited with them.  The patients were able to sit in the cars, and have their pictures taken.  Then there was a lap around the racetrack at Miller Autosports track (we didn't attend due to naps)  What a fun day, the best part was how much our kids got out of giving. Mason had a great time meeting some of the kids, and he still talks about it.  I think he understood so well the message of the day.  Can't wait for next year, a truly great event!

Some of the cars at Shriners.
Mason looking in the window waiting for the kids to come out.  Sophia's just runnin' around.
Yes, Ferrari...little does he know- he just thought the little horsie was cute.

The drive to the hospital, pretty fun!
Carrying in the toys as a group.
